NATURE CAMPS
Nature camps are an excellent way for your child to develop nature awareness skills. On this page we have listed several in North America that we know well enough to recommend. Some are summer programs, others are offered year round. Visit each web site for more information.
We have visited and/or taught at many of these camps. With others we have personal contact with the organizers and know of the high quality of their work. Still others have come highly recommended to us. All of those listed will provide your child with a deep connection to the natural world in a safe and loving environment.
We offer this list as a service to our readers, however it is up to you to decide which camp is best for your child. Use this list as a starting point if you are looking for a camp experience. Outdoor Nature Child assumes no responsibility for programs run by other organizations.
This is only a sample of the many quality programs that exist. We will add to this list from time to time.
Let us know if you would like us to consider a camp that you feel should be included.
