FAVORITE ANIMALBarbara and Moon Bird were talking about their favorite animal the other day. You will never believe what it was! I'll tell you later. We got to thinking, though, there must be a lot of stories like that the children have. Wouldn't it be great fun to create a web page just for favorite animals? So here we are. This page is for just that, but we can't do it without you! If you will give us a little story about one of your favorites, we will post it along with all the other stories we recieve. It's easy to do. Just fill out the simple form below. Space is limited, so we can't post every one, but we will put up as many as we can. We may edit your story for grammar or clarity. As always, with all of our nature activities, please ask your parents if this is ok. Did you notice that I asked for a nature animal? I did this because we are looking for stories about real life creatures, not cartoons. Our real nature friends have a lot to teach us and can give us great pleasure when they are a part of our lives. Your favorite nature creature can be a pet, one you saw in a picture or at the zoo, one you read about, or any other. Remember, the animal world includes just about anything that is not a plant. This includes birds, fish, insects, and spiders, You have a lot to choose from!
